A few words from our new Principal ...

Five Wounds School, founded in 1960 by The Reverend Mario B. Cordeiro within the framework of the Portuguese National Church, provides students in grades Kindergarten through eighth grade a place of spiritual formation with Gospel-centered academic excellence. Enriched by its nearly 50 years of tradition, while embracing the best teaching practices and multicultural diversity of today, the Five Wounds School community is uniquely equipped to further its mission of recognizing and addressing the needs of the whole student and to further the aims of Catholic education: message, community, service and worship.

Five Wounds School’s strong curriculum is based on a successful student-focused approach to learning. In partnership with parents, we strive to nurture the spiritual, intellectual, social, physical and psychological potential in each child. We are proud of our fine teachers and support staff who work together to provide a safe and welcoming environment in our school community.

If you are interested in our school and would like a tour, just give us a call with at least a 24-hr. notice and we will be glad to accommodate you.  See our hallway of history and find out who we are!
